Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch To Exchange Women's Titles On WWE SmackDown

Due to their changes in brand

Current Raw Women's champion Charlotte Flair and SmackDown Women's champion Becky Lynch are scheduled to swap their belts on tonight's episode of SmackDown, per WWE.

WWE tweeted, "As @MsCharlotteWWE and @BeckyLynchWWE prepare to swap rosters, it appears a WWE Women’s Championship Title Exchange will take place TONIGHT on #SmackDown!"

Flair was moved to SmackDown in the Draft earlier this month, while Lynch was moved over to Raw.

WWE has executed a similar move before. In October of 2020, Raw Tag Team champions The Street Profits swapped belts with SmackDown Tag Team champions Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day, when the two teams switched brands in last year's Draft.

Flair won the Raw Women's title at SummerSlam on August 21, defeating champion Nikki ASH and fellow challenger Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match. Lynch captured the SmackDown Women's title on the same night, defeating Bianca Belair, in what was Lynch's return after nearly 16 months away on maternity leave.

Flair retained the Raw Women's title against Belair on Monday's Raw, losing via DQ. Lynch retained her SmackDown Women's title at Crown Jewel yesterday, defeating Belair and Sasha Banks.
