Charlotte Flair Vignette Airs On WWE SmackDown

Charlotte Flair’s return to WWE programming has been looming in recent months, with it being known that she’d returned to in-ring training, alongside reports that a comeback was imminent. WWE are finally building towards her long-awaited return to programming as a vignette aired on last night’s January 17 episode of Friday Night SmackDown with Flair as the focus. 

The vignette showed several clips from across Flair’s career, in addition to clips of Flair aboard a yacht, getting on her private jet and wearing a Rolls Royce, very much leaning into her stylin’ and profilin’ persona. Her name popped up at the end of the video, though there was zero indication of when and where she would actually be back, but this means that when she does return, it won’t be as a surprise.

It was reported over the last week that a match between current WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair had been discussed for WrestleMania 41. It has been known for some months that WWE were planning Flair for a big match at the show with her return timeframe always seeing her back in time for WrestleMania. She has been out of action since late 2023 after tearing her ACL, MCL and meniscus.
