Spoilers For Tonight’s AEW Collision Are Ahead

AEW Collision is airing later tonight after being taped on Thursday night at the Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, following on from Dynamite to bring the second part of the ‘Maximum Carnage’ double header. The show will be a notable one as we are set to likely see a retirement from in-ring competition.

During the Collision show, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Christopher Daniels did battle in an acclaimed Texas Death Match, which ended with Page coming out victorious, beating Daniels with a Deadeye on a steel chair and a Buckshot Lariat. After the match, Page continued his assault on Daniels with an Angel’s Wings.

According to a report from Fightful Select, this will likely mark the final match of Christopher Daniels’ long and successful in-ring career. Although it hasn’t been announced ahead of time, Fightful have noted that Daniels has been actively seeking a retirement match for some time, and the belief is that he will now step away from competing between the ropes for good.

The 54-year-olds’ lengthy career has seen him win titles across the world, notably competing in the likes of TNA, ROH and AEW.
