Charlotte Flair Wants To Main Event WWE WrestleMania 39 With Rhea Ripley
Charlotte Flair wants the Main Event slot for her match against Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 39
After winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match in January, Rhea Ripley quickly called her shot, challenging WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to a title match at WrestleMania 39 in April.
Ripley has never defeated Flair in singles action and will be hoping she can break her duck at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’. When the two clash, Flair wants it to be in the main event, saying to Les anti-pods de la lutte: “Rhea and I are main event quality, it's a main event story, and I want to be in the main event with her. I know it's going to be that good," said Flair.
The two have clashed at WrestleMania before, with Flair defeating Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36 Night Two in 2020. Flair has also headlined Mania in the past, with ‘The Queen’ part of the history making winner takes all Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship triple threat match with Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
