Report: Chelsea Green Signs New WWE Contract
Green has been off TV since November 2020 but has agreed a new deal
Chelsea Green has signed a new WWE contract, it has been revealed.
According to Fightful Select, Green’s contract was set to run out some time this Summer, but WWE have tied her down for the next three years.
The former Laurel Van Ness has been with WWE since 2018, becoming a regular on NXT in 2020 as part of the Robert Stone Brand. However, a planned call-up to WWE Raw in Summer 2020 was scrapped when Paul Heyman left his position as executive director of the red brand.
A second call-up was scheduled in Autumn 2020 for Green to go to WWE SmackDown, and compete as part of team blue at Survivor Series 2020. But this too did not go to plan as Green suffered a wrist injury during her debut match.
Green has been on the sidelines since then, and after successful surgery is currently waiting to be cleared for a full in-ring return.
