Chris Bey Signs New Deal With IMPACT Wrestling

Chris Bey also wants more IMPACT gold

IMPACT have confirmed that Chris Bey has signed a multi-year extension with the promotion.

Bey has big plans for his future with IMPACT, telling Sports Illustrated that he ultimately wants to be IMPACT World Champion.

"It takes time to become a top guy. That's what I'm pursuing now. I want programmes with Josh Alexander, Eddie Edwards, and 'Speedball' Mike Bailey. I want to work with IMPACT legends. I am pushing to be the absolute best. And the world championship has always been the biggest goal for me. That is my number one. It's something I have to accomplish, and I'm going to make sure it becomes a reality. Until I do, to quote Kobe, 'The job’s not finished,'" Bey said.

The Ultimate Finesser signed a full-time deal with IMPACT in early 2020 and he had a brief run as X-Division Champion later that year. Bey joined Bullet Club in August of 2021 and he is currently pursuing the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships with stablemate Ace Austin.

Bey also noted to Sports Illustrated that he wants to continue performing in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, which his new deal allows him to do. His last NJPW match took place back in April of 2022 at Windy City Riot.
