Chris Dickinson Appears At Latest NJPW STRONG Taping

Chris Dickinson back in NJPW

Chris Dickinson made a shock appearance at Sunday's NJPW STRONG Fighting Spirit Unleashed taping in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, August 21.

Dickinson returned to New Japan following Fred Rosser's successful STRONG Openweight Title defence against TJP and the former UWN Champion took out Rosser before he offered to fight the crowd.

Sunday was Dickinson's first appearance in NJPW since a May 15 loss to Hiroshi Tanahashi. Allegations of domestic abuse were made against Dickinson by two of his former girlfriends in Christian Von Eerie and McKaila Coulter prior to his match with Tanahashi and he was not booked by the promotion following the May appearance. The allegations were made shortly after Dickinson had signed a per-appearance deal with NJPW.

Dickinson filed a lawsuit on July 22 against his former girlfriends, claiming they had committed "blatant acts of defamation." One of Dickinson's claims within the suit was that his NJPW contract was "valueless" because he had not been booked, which is ultimately no longer the case.
