Christian Cage Described As A James Bond Villain
Christian Cage currently in his James Bond villain era
Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Auric Goldfinger, Jaws, and Christian Cage, just some of the villains James Bond 007 has had to deal with during his distinguished career in the British secret service.
For Cage, the All Elite Wrestling TNT Champion is currently in his Bond villain era according to long time friend/tag partner/rival Adam Copeland, with Copeland saying the following about the ‘Patriarch’ to Sports Illustrated:
“He does this so well because he wants to be one,” said Copeland. “Somewhere along the way, that’s got lost. Heels became cooler than the babyface. That’s not how it should be. That’s not how he sees it, either. I mean, the man wears a cut-off turtleneck. There’s nothing cool about what he’s doing. He’s fully committed to it. He’s a Bond villain and loving it. It’s fun to be involved with,” said Copeland.
Copeland momentarily defeated Cage for the TNT Championship at AEW Worlds End 2023, but lost the belt moments later to Killswitch, with the former Luchasaurus subsequently handing the title back to Cage.
There’s no word if Cage plans on blowing up the Moon with a giant laser, or if he intends on feeding Roger Moore to alligators.
