Adam Copeland Rules Out Having Another TLC Match

No more TLC matches for Adam Copeland

Whilst Adam Copeland has achieved unimaginable highs during his legendary wrestling career, three letters still come up again and again; TLC.

Copeland - alongside Christian, The Hardy Boyz, and The Dudley Boyz - pioneered the tables ladders and chairs matches during WWE’s Attitude Era, with the inaugural TLC matches at SummerSlam 2000 and WrestleMania X-Seven still regarded as some of the greatest WWE matches ever.

However, don’t expect to see Copeland in any more TLC matches, with the AEW star telling the Lethbridge Herald that he is done competing in such dangerous matches:

“People say (they want to see it), but no, actually stop and think about it for a second. We were in our early 20s when we did those matches. We’re in our 50s now. Leave it in a very good place in memory, and let us do what we do now, which is tell better stories,” said Copeland.

With Copeland, Cage, and The Hardys all part of AEW there were hopes from sections of the AEW fanbase that they could reignite their legendary feud for one last run, but if they do don’t expect any spears from 20ft ladders.
