Christian Cage: I'm Sure Jeff Hardy Will Join AEW At Some Point

Revisit their history

Christian Cage is confident Jeff Hardy will join All Elite Wrestling at some point in the future, he revealed to ET Canada.

"Yeah, of course. There's so much history there and, obviously, I'm very close with Matt [Hardy] as well. It's been great to reconnect with him in AEW. He's kind of doing the same thing as far as mentoring the younger generation the same way. He's also got a wealth of knowledge. Jeff is an extremely talented guy. A really good guy. I'm sure at some point that will happen," Christian said.

Cage's assertion comes only days after Matt Hardy said a Hardy Boyz reunion with Jeff would be "amazing" and there is no better place to do it than in All Elite Wrestling.

If the Hardy Boyz will reunite in AEW ultimately remains to be seen, though.

The earliest opportunity Jeff Hardy would have to sign with AEW would be in early 2022 after his 90-day non-compete clause from WWE expires.

Hardy had spent the last four years with Vince McMahon's company but he was released in early December following an incident at a live event where The Charismatic Enigma grew sluggish during a six-man tag team match and rolled out of the ring and headed backstage through the crowd while the match was still underway.
