Report: WWE Aware Of Comedic Nature Of Prolonging Veer Mahaan Video Packages

Will Veer ever arrive?

Veer Mahaan has been coming for 10 weeks but he's still no closer to arriving on Monday Night Raw, something that has become a running joke amongst fans on social media.

The former Major League Baseball prospect was previously aligned with Jinder Mahal and Shanky but that alliance was broken up in the 2021 WWE Draft when the former WWE Champion and Shanky were moved to Friday Night SmackDown, while Veer remained on Raw.

Veer has performed on Main Event since the draft, defeating T-Bar, Jaxson Ryker, John Morrison and Cedric Alexander, but he has yet to reappear on Raw despite all of the video packages.

According to Fightful Select, WWE are aware of the comedic nature of stretching out Veer's debut with the video packages. What the company are hoping to achieve by doing so remains unknown, however.

Fightful also noted there was "no real rhyme or reason" as to why WWE split Mahaan from Jinder Mahal and Shanky and many thought for a while that he would simply be moved to SmackDown to reform the faction. WWE are high on Mahaan, though, and they thought he had the most upside from his previous teams with Shanky and Saurav in Indus Sher.

Furthermore, there were no "significant creative plans in place for Veer or his debut" when WWE started airing the 'Veer Mahan Is Coming' video packages, although Veer has been backstage at Raw for shows he wasn't booked on.
