Report: WWE's Bruce Prichard Dealing With Health Issue

Best wishes to Bruce Prichard

Several WWE executives reportedly missed the Monday Night Raw taping from Detroit, Michigan on December 27 and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, Kevin Dunn, Michael Hayes and Adam Pearce were all absent from the show.

WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis and Ed Koskey, WWE's Vice President of Creative Writing, were in charge of Raw in McMahon's absence.

In an update, Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer noted Executive Director of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown Bruce Prichard is currently dealing with a health issue and has missed other tapings as of late.

"No Vince at the show, No Bruce Prichard. There's an issue with Bruce Prichard. I'm not exactly clear, I just heard a health issue and he's been sick. He was sick a couple of weeks ago and he's missed other shows, I believe. Vince, Kevin Dunn, Michael Hayes wasn't at the show... I think those were the main people that were not at the show tonight but I think those are precautionary measures," Meltzer said.

Bruce Prichard's latest run with WWE began in February 2019 when he rejoined the company as a member of the creative team. The former Brother Love was promoted soon after, though, replacing Eric Bischoff as Executive Director of SmackDown. Prichard then replaced Paul Heyman as Executive Director of Raw in June 2020.
