Christian Cage Wins AEW TNT Title On Collision

The titleholder officially holds the title

Christian Cage is officially the AEW TNT champion, after defeating Luchasaurus and Darby Allin in a three way match at AEW Collision on Saturday night in Grand Rapids, MI.

Late in the match, after the belt came into play as a weapon, Luchasaurus picked it up, marking the first time he had touched the belt (as Christian previously refused to let him do so). Christian demanded that Luchasaurus hand him the belt back, but after he did, Allin knocked his two opponents into each other.

Allin managed to strike Luchasaurus with the belt and hit the Coffin Drop, but Christian sent Allin to the floor and covered Luchasaurus himself to win. After the match, Christian made Luchasaurus raise his hand and put him on his shoulders.

The win gives Christian his first official championship in AEW, though he's "held" the TNT title since Luchasaurus' initial title victory. Christian also previously managed Luchasaurus and Jack Perry to the AEW World Tag Team titles in early 2022.

Luchasaurus' reign as TNT champion ends after 98 days. He won the title from Wardlow on the premiere episode of Collision on June 17 in Chicago.
