CJ Perry Provides Update On MRSA Infection

CJ Perry has revealed her progress after MRSA infection diagnosis

CJ Perry has shared an update on her condition, with the All Elite Wrestling star currently dealing with an MRSA infection in her finger.

Perry has been battling the infection since December 2023, taking time off either side of the Worlds End pay per view on December 30 to receive treatment. In an update to Twitter/X, Perry revealed that she is seeing her surgeon ‘almost every day’ in order to fight the infection:

“[The surgeon] put an IV in my hand with a really long needle. She said it was going to feel like fire. And literally, fire… felt a stinging sensation go up my arm. Lasted around five minutes and then it went numb. She said it was good news… and she dug in more and started to see blood, and she said we’re heading in the right direction,” revealed Perry.

Perry underwent surgery on her finger before Christmas, but the infection has persisted. Perry has remained active on social media throughout her absence from AEW TV, stating that she is keeping a close eye on talent in the organisation who could use some managerial representation.
