CJ Perry Undergoes Successful Surgery On Infected Finger

AEW's CJ Perry is now on the road to recovery

AEW’s CJ Perry was ruled out of several shows over the last week, with the manager of Andrade El Idolo missing his return to CMLL and his match on AEW Collision in the Continental Classic tournament. This is due to her being hospitalised with an infected finger, which she showed off on social media much to the shock of many fans, as it was looking rather serious. The infection spread up her arm too, per the pictures she posted.

Perry revealed on X yesterday that after over two days straight in hospital, she would be heading in for surgery. Later on, her husband and fellow AEW talent Miro revealed on his Instagram stories that Perry had undergone her surgery and is now on the road to recovery. His story featured Perry looking fairly happy, especially since Miro had brought along a lot of tasty-looking food.

Perry has revealed how she sustained the infection, writing on Instagram: "I have been in the hospital since Saturday fighting a fatal infection that came from getting a small splinter backstage at work this past Wednesday. Please keep me in your prayers. And everyone really take care of any cuts you get. As small as a splinter can turn into a deadly infection. Love all of you guys and thank you to everyone who has reached out."

It isn’t known how long CJ Perry will be away from AEW in the aftermath of her surgery, but we wish her the best on her journey to a comeback.
