Clark Connors Signs New NJPW Deal

Clark Connors re-ups with NJPW

A rising star has re-signed with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

The promotion have announced that Clark Connors has signed a new contract with NJPW. The length of Connors' new deal was not officially revealed but Fightful Select reported that Wild Rhino is under contract for another year.

A product of NJPW's LA Dojo, Connors made his NJPW debut back in 2018 as a Young Lion. He has since risen through the ranks and has competed in Japan for the promotion in Best of the Super Juniors 29 and Super Junior Tag League 2022 alongside Ryusuke Taguchi.

Connors has had a busy start to 2023, competing for UWN, IHPW, Prestige Wrestling, Warrior Wrestling, and DEFY on the independents. He also unsuccessfully challenged Zack Sabre Jr. for the NJPW World Television Championship at Battle in the Valley in February before he failed to defeat Wheeler Yuta for the ROH Pure Title on Ring of Honor TV.

Connors will be in action at New Japan's upcoming Capital Collision show on Saturday, April 15. He is scheduled to team with Lio Rush, Rocky Romero, Chuck Taylor, Lio Rush and The DKC against Volador Jr., KUSHIDA, Mike Bailey, Gabriel Kidd, and Kevin Knight.
