Report: Unclear Within WWE How Often Vince McMahon Will Be At TV Tapings

Vince McMahon can turn up to a WWE TV taping whenever he likes

Following WWE's sale to Endeavor after WrestleMania 39, Vince McMahon reinserted himself as the head of WWE creative beginning with the Raw after the Showcase of the Immortals. McMahon ordered heavy changes to the show minutes before Raw went on the air and the WWE Executive Chairman ended up running the TV taping more and more as the night went on.

It appears McMahon was only so heavily involved because he was already in Los Angeles for WrestleMania. The 77-year-old did not travel to Portland, Oregon for the post-WrestleMania 39 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, instead reviewing the script for SmackDown remotely and ordering minor changes to the company's plans.

PWInsider Elite also noted that McMahon looked over the original plans for the April 10 episode of Raw but he did not make any massive changes. The show still had to undergo major rewrites, though, due to travel issues for a lot of the WWE roster.

How often McMahon will be backstage at Raw and SmackDown is unknown within WWE, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio

"Vince is involved. He's definitely involved and as far as how often he's going to go [to shows], nobody knows. Nobody knows. He's going to show up when he wants to show up. He's going to do what he wants to do and that's the deal," Meltzer said.

Triple H still produces much of WWE's creative as Chief Content Officer, although McMahon holds the right to scrap or change any plans in his role as head of creative.
