Claudio Castagnoli’s Flight Delayed, May Miss NJPW Dominion

NJPW’s Dominion PPV event is ongoing right now, and one of the biggest matches on the card is set to be a huge NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship match which sees Chaos buddies Kazuchika Okada and Tomohiro Ishii team with Hiroshi Tanahashi to take on The Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli, who are teaming up with Shota Umino. 

However, the match may not end up going as planned. 

On twitter, Dave Meltzer revealed that Castagnoli’s flight was delayed, meaning that it could be a rush to see him make it to the venue and event; 

“It's going to be a photo finish, Claudio's flight was delayed, may have to change in the cab and rush to the ring as soon as he gets to Jo Hall.”

This match is set to mark Castagnoli’s New Japan Pro Wrestling debut, so it is a match he won’t want to see. There is no news on whether NJPW has a replacement lined up just in case Castagnoli is late for the show.
