CM Punk's Role For April 27 AEW Dynamite Revealed
What will CM Punk be doing on AEW Dynamite?
CM Punk will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite and The Second City Saviour's role on the show has been revealed.
Tony Khan announced on Twitter that Punk will be the special guest commentator for Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler's Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament qualifier.
"For the first time ever, it's a Dynamite dream match as @DaxFTR + @CashWheelerFTR will wrestle each other one-on-one in an #OwenHart Men's Tournament Qualifier Match! Your special guest commentator: @CMPunk. Dax vs Cash on #AEWDynamite LIVE this Wednesday @ 8 pm ET/7 pm CT on TBS," Khan tweeted.
Punk has faced the likes of Dustin Rhodes and Max Caster since his feud with MJF ended and the former WWE Champion finally came face-to-face with Hangman Page last week, with an AEW World Title match likely to take place at May's Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
Several matches have already been announced for Dynamite, including Lance Archer vs. Wardlow, a Street Fight between Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb, and Sammy Guevara vs. Scorpio Sky in a TNT Title Ladder Match.
