CM Punk Says He Is Free For "Two Months"

CM Punk has said he is only free for the next two months

CM Punk has made his first TV appearance since being fired from AEW, returning to the commentary desk at CFFC (Cage Fury Fighting Championship).

There were some references made to his firing, and it was noted in a joke that Punk would have some free time on his hands now. Punk would follow this up by saying he does in fact have some free time, but only for the next “two months”. This obviously implies that Punk has something planned for two months down the line. With some talk of a WWE return, and with Survivor Series taking place in two months time in Chicago, it will lead to some speculation for sure.

Punk was let go from AEW following a physical altercation with Jack Perry at AEW All In London, with the shockwaves of that affecting Tony Khan too, who noted that he felt scared for his life due to what happened with Punk. He became a two-time AEW World Champion whilst in the company.
