CM Punk Sets New Pro Wrestling Tees Record For Shirts Sold In 24 Hours

Best t-shirt salesman in the world?

If you tried procuring a CM Punk t-shirt during Friday night's "First Dance" edition of AEW Rampage, you know you weren't the only one (simply based on how hard it was to reach Shop AEW and/or Pro Wrestling Tees).

In fact, PWT has announced that Punk set a brand new record for most shirts sold in a 24 hour stretch, following his debut appearance on Rampage Friday night in Chicago.

The previous records for most shirts sold in a one day stretch belonged to Sting and Brodie Lee.

Both PWT and Shop AEW crashed with much frequency in the half a day that followed his debut on Friday night, due to the surge of customers.

Punk's appearance at Rampage on Friday night was his first for a national wrestling organization in over seven and a half years, since walking out of WWE the day after the 2014 Royal Rumble.

Punk is next scheduled to appear on this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite in Milwaukee. He's also scheduled to wrestle Darby Allin at All Out on September 5, at the NOW Arena in suburban Chicago.
