CM Punk Vs. Penta Oscuro Announced For AEW Dynamite

A first time meeting between CM Punk and Penta on tonight’s AEW Dynamite

After Tweeting out that they he wanted an opponent to wrestle on tonight’s edition of AEW: Dynamite, CM Punk finally has his match as he will take on Penta Oscuro for the first time ever.

Punk took to Twitter late last week to throw out a challenge, Tweeting:

“Hey somebody wrestle me Wednesday. @DaxFTR @CashWheelerFTR @WheelerYuta @PENTAELZEROM @KORcombat @TonyNese @dustinrhodes @bryandanielson @TheJonGresham @SilverNumber1 @youngbucks basically anyone except Eddie Kingston. #AEWDynamite”

As you can image, a plethora of wrestlers responded looking to take on the challenge with Penta being just one of the names to accept 'The Second City Saint's request.

The two have never wrestled together in their careers, as Penta first starting making a name for himself outside of AAA around the time that Punk quit WWE and embarked on his lengthy hiatus from the business.

Arguably two of the best wrestlers in AEW, this is a certified dream match, and will be Punk’s first match since defeating Max Caster on March 30, whilst Penta’s last singles match on AEW: Dynamite came on January 12 with a win over Matt Hardy.
