CM Punk Vs. Samoa Joe & More Set For AEW Collision

CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe on AEW Collision!

A huge match has been made official for next week's edition of AEW Collision on Saturday, July 8.

The quarter-finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament continued on Saturday's episode of AEW Collision and saw Samoa Joe defeat Roderick Strong to move on, setting up a semi-final match with CM Punk.

The two men had a legendary programme in 2004 over the ROH World Championship, with Joe eventually coming out on top in their third clash following two 60-minute time-limit draws. The hostilities between Joe and Punk were rekindled on the debut episode of AEW Collision as Punk teamed with FTR to defeat Joe and Bullet Club Gold.

The second semi-final of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will also take place on next week's AEW Collision. Former Team Taz stablemates will come to blows as Ricky Starks defeated Juice Robinson to move on, while Powerhouse Hobbs picked up a win over Dustin Rhodes. The first women's semi-final will take place too when Athena faces Willow Nightingale.

In the fourth match announced for Collision, FTR will face Bullet Club Gold's Jay White and Juice Robinson in an AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator.
