CM Punk Wants To Face Bryan Danielson In AEW

Will Punk and Danielson go one on one?

CM Punk wants to face Bryan Danielson in All Elite Wrestling.

The Straight Edge Superstar returned to professional wrestling in AEW on August 13 and Danielson is reportedly set to join him on September 5 at the All Out pay-per-view. Punk even teased Danielson would be arriving in the promotion soon, telling fans they would have to be a "little bit more patient" on last week's edition of Dynamite.

Speaking about Danielson with the New York Post, Punk revealed he would like to go one on one with The American Dragon in AEW.

"That's somebody that I look at and I go, man wrestling him was always fun. It was never a headache and God I would like to do that again. I would like to do that again soon. It's a big deal. The guy was in the WrestleMania main event. He's freshly removed from television. He's a big deal. He's a very, very big deal and I think that signals to pro wrestling fans that this is the place to be. This is what I want to watch," Punk said.

If Danielson and Punk do clash in AEW, it would be the third major promotion they have wrestled each other in. The two stars first faced off in Ring Of Honor back in 2004, and they would later feud with each other in WWE throughout the summer of 2012 before teaming together at Survivor Series 2013 against The Wyatt Family.
