Cody Rhodes Approached To Run For Political Office By Democrats & Republicans

Cody Rhodes has been approached by political parties, doesn't rule out involvement one day

Professional wrestling and politics have crossed paths several times in the past. For instance, both Kane and Jesse Ventura entered the world of politics following their WWE careers, Donald Trump is a WWE Hall Of Famer, and The Rock has been discussed for years as someone who could potentially run for President given his name value.

The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was recently asked in an interview with Gabby LaSpisa about the discussions surrounding him one day running for President too. Rhodes revealed that he had actually been approached by political parties.

“So it’s funny that it’s been kind of brought up a bunch lately, because as shocking as this might seem to people, both…we live in a society where it’s really like, you got your Democratic Party, you got your Republican Party. So few get to fall in the moderate range anymore, even though so many of us have a moderate mindset. But I actually got approached by, I won’t say people directly, but I got approached by individuals from both parties about potentially running for an office in Georgia.”

Rhodes noted that the prospect of being in a position to help people was something that was very appealing to him. When his time in the ring is done, Rhodes could very well enter the political sphere based on these comments.
