Cody Rhodes Responds To Question About Vince McMahon Allegations

Cody Rhodes spoke about the Vince McMahon lawsuit & allegations when asked a question

Overall, the WWE roster has been largely silent on the topic of the Vince McMahon lawsuit and the allegations that come with it, so during the Bash In Berlin 2024 press conference, a question was posed to Undisputed WWE Champion about whether he would be watching the upcoming Vince McMahon documentary on Netflix, and whether or not he personally believed the side of Janel Grant.

Rhodes initially joked that he was in the middle of a Game Of Thrones rewatch, so would not be finding the time to tune in for the documentary, though he believes he’ll watch it at some point in the future. He then turned to the other part of the question.

“In terms of the more serious meat in your question in terms of the locker room being quiet or silent, whatever it may be, I don’t think that is a matter of belief versus non-belief, I think it's strictly speaking…we want to be doing what we were doing out there and the focus and the attention that it takes, you know, 13,149 people to have a great story and have a great match and do that every single night has left most of us where we’re finding the information out just as you are and that includes the resolution of this information in terms of what happened, how it happened, and how justice comes about, whatever it may be. But I wouldn’t look at it as an active attempt from the locker room to be silent in any attempt, we’re just doing what we do day-to-day WWE business.”

When it comes to Rhodes’ own personal view on the situation, he stated that he doesn’t know enough of the facts to create an opinion. McMahon was engulfed in controversy earlier this year when details emerged over a sex trafficking and hush money scandal and lawsuit, alleging McMahon’s involvement at the centre of it. This would ultimately lead to McMahon’s removal from TKO and WWE for good.
