Brock Lesnar raises the hand of his opponent Cody Rhodes following their match at WWE SummerSlam 2023

Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes spent much of 2023 battling one another.

The two men clashed in three matches (at WrestleMania Backlash, Night of Champions and SummerSlam) with The American Nightmare ultimately walking away with a 2-1 record against The Beast Incarnate.

Brock famously went off-script and shook his opponent's hand following Cody's victory at SummerSlam, endorsing Rhodes in what to date is Lesnar's last WWE outing.

As Cody revealed during a recent appearance on FLAGRANT, a handshake wasn't the only thing he received from Brock after their series was over.

Discussing what it was like to work with Lesnar, Rhodes said:

"The lore of him is that he is the most crazy, outrageous, strong, the greatest athlete and he can end anybody in a moment. I'll ruin it for some: his professionalism is so underrated. He is one of, if not, the most professional and understanding of what we wanted.

"He has a farm in Canada. I hope you're not mad at me for sharing this, but he sent me an entire cow's worth of steaks. He took a picture of himself with the cow, because he does it all. He's a real farmer. I thought: 'what a legend!'".

Lesnar hasn't appeared on WWE programming since being implicated in former WWE employee Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE.

A recent report indicated that WWE are not planning to bring him back anytime soon.
