Cody Rhodes Tipped To Win The Royal Rumble By Former WWE Official

Cody Rhodes has been tipped to win the WWE Royal Rumble.

The American Nightmare is one of the favourites to win the Rumble on January 28 and former WWE referee Mike Chioda believes Rhodes will be the man pointing at the WrestleMania 39 sign following the Men's Royal Rumble Match.

"I think it's going to be Cody Rhodes. He'll win the Rumble, get up on that second rope, look over at that WrestleMania sign, point to it, the referees will be screaming, giving him the cues," Chioda said on Monday Mailbag.

Cody is currently out of action, having torn his pectoral muscle in June of 2022. He is featured in the Royal Rumble poster, though, suggesting he will be back in time for the pay-per-view and WWE have begun hyping up his return with vignettes over the past two weeks.

Royal Rumble will emanate from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, January 28. The event will air on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network in the United Kingdom and internationally.
