Cody Rhodes Vs. Dominik Mysterio Official For WWE Money In The Bank
Cody Rhodes will face Dominik Mysterio at WWE Money in the Bank
Cody Rhodes will take a brief break from his programme with Brock Lesnar.
It was revealed during the June 12 episode of Monday Night Raw that Rhodes will take on Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank. The pay-per-view is scheduled to emanate from The O2 in London, England on July 1.
Issues between Mysterio and Cody initially arose last week after Dominik interrupted Rhodes' appearance on Miz TV. It was Cody's turn to do the interruption this week, disrupting Rhea Ripley and Mysterio's celebration of Ripley becoming the Women's World Champion. Cody then challenged Dom to a match at Money in the Bank which Ripley accepted on her boyfriend's behalf.
The Miz then suddenly attacked Rhodes from behind which allowed Mysterio to sucker punch Cody before he abandoned the squared circle. Despite the sucker punch, Rhodes would defeat The Miz in their scheduled match.
Also announced for Money in the Bank on Monday Night Raw was Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight Championship.
