World Heavyweight Title Match Set For WWE Money In The Bank

Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor is set for WWE Money in the Bank

Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will wrestle for a world championship for the first time in seven years at Money in the Bank.

It has been announced that Seth Rollins will put the World Heavyweight Title on the line against Finn Balor at the July 1 pay-per-view in London, England. The match was made official during the June 12 edition of Monday Night Raw after Balor confronted Rollins and called back to their Universal Title match at SummerSlam 2016, blaming Rollins for having to vacate the belt.

This led to a challenge from Finn, which Rollins accepted, before he said the Balor of 2016 could beat him but this version of The Prince wouldn't walk away with the gold at Money in the Bank.

The two men have had several singles matches since SummerSlam 2016, with Rollins having won the majority of them. He even defeated Balor only last month to advance to the final of the World Heavyweight Title tournament.

Rollins picked up a win over AJ Styles in the tournament final at Night of Champions on May 27 and he has been World Heavyweight Champion ever since.
