Continued Conflicting Reports On Legitimacy Of Jade Cargill's Injury

Jade Cargill was written off WWE programming last year in a mystery attacker angle, and in the aftermath conflicting reports emerged regarding whether or not she was actually injured in the first place. Cargill returned at the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE, making a beeline for Naomi, who was then revealed as her attacker. Since her comeback, things are still not clear when it comes to her injury.

The emergence of a story regarding reported backstage heat in WWE for Cargill revealed a detail that some of those in WWE were sceptical of Cargill’s injury, especially since WWE had reportedly denied her having time off during the holiday period. However, Fightful Select noted that her injury was legitimate. 

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has revealed his own take, reiterating the story that he reported of Cargill’s injury being a work. He stated that he was unsure what sort of injury allows someone to to travel, pursue Hollywood projects, and work in the Performance Center for several weeks. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select responded to this on X, claiming that if the injury was falsified, then the medical team, creative team, friends, and more were worked. It seems as though there is still uncertainty, with conflicting reports on whether or not she was actually injured.
