Naomi Officially Revealed As Jade Cargill's Attacker

It was heavily implied at the recent Elimination Chamber 2025 premium live event that it was Naomi who was the one behind Jade Cargill’s mystery attack on SmackDown back in November, writing her off WWE television to deal with an alleged injury. On last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it was confirmed. 

During a promo segment between former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Naomi, Belair demanded answers after Cargill returned to WWE at the Elimination Chamber show to attack Naomi, taking her out of the match. After a long pause, Naomi finally revealed that she was the one behind the attack on Cargill, despite their previous alliance. 

The pair went back and forth in an emotional segment, with Naomi revealing that she did it for Belair, calling her an “ungrateful b****”. Earlier in the segment she tried to focus Belair on winning back the tag titles, implying some of her reasoning for going after Cargill. After Belair walked out on Naomi, Cargill emerged, once again laying out Naomi.

It emerged this past week that Cargill had been the subject of some reported heat backstage in WWE.
