It has been a long time coming, but Lex Luger is finally being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. During a filmed exchange with Diamond Dallas Page, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes showed up to visit the pair in a surprise, revealing to Luger that he was to be involved in the 2025 WWE Hall Of Fame class.

Luger has had long battles throughout his life with drug and alcohol abuse, and a stroke suffered in 2007 that left him wheelchair bound. Just this year, after working with Diamond Dallas Page, Luger was able to stand up via his own strength out of the wheelchair - something he did again to hug and thank Cody Rhodes.

Lex Luger, real name Lawrence Pfohl, carved out a big legacy in the likes of WCW and WWE during the 1980s and 1990s, winning the WCW World Championship on two occasions, in addition to winning a Royal Rumble match. Luger also had a record-breaking reign as the United States Champion, winning several other pieces of gold throughout his career too. Triple H took to X to congratulate Luger on his impending induction.

“Lex Luger has overcome challenges his whole career. Not only a champion in WCW and an incredible WWE Superstar, but he has overcome challenges in life that are truly inspirational. He will now take his place as a member of the 2025 Hall Of Fame”

WWE had reportedly planned for some changes to the Hall Of Fame ceremony this year, but it isn't yet known how the ceremony will be approached. Luger joins Triple H, Michelle McCool and The Natural Disasters as the announced and planned inductees.
