Contract Issue Reportedly A Factor In Sasha Banks & Naomi Walking Out Of WWE Raw

A contract issue played a part in Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out

While a Six-Pack Challenge featuring Becky Lynch, Asuka, Naomi, Sasha Banks, Nikki ASH, and Doudrop was initially announced for Monday Night Raw, the match was quickly scrapped after it emerged that Banks and Naomi had walked out on the show

Naomi was booked to win the Six-Pack Challenge but the Women's Tag Team Champions ended up leaving the building following a meeting with Vince McMahon in which neither side backed down. The former SmackDown Women's champions were said to be concerned about the direction of their tag team and the women's tag team division as a whole.

Another problem seemingly contributed to Naomi and Banks walking out as well, with Dave Meltzer reporting on Wrestling Observer Radio there was an issue with the team's contracts.

"Some issues with the contract. I think that more will probably be coming out as to the why, what they were unhappy about. It wasn't something that just happened tonight. Some of it was building up," Meltzer said.

It was also noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that both women left together, as opposed to Banks being the leader and Naomi following.
