Cora Jade Provides Injury Update On Raquel Gonzalez

More about the injury to Raquel Gonzalez

Raquel Gonzalez looks set to miss NXT's Stand & Deliver event.

The former NXT Women's Champion teamed with Cora Jade against Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo in a Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic match on last week's NXT. Gonzalez suffered a knee injury during the encounter, though, following an attack from Toxic Attraction and she was attended to by WWE's medical team later in the evening.

Cora Jade provided an update on her tag team partner on Tuesday's show and revealed Gonzalez is expected to be out of action for the next four-six weeks.

This would mean Gonzalez will miss Stand & Deliver, which is set to take place on Saturday, April 2 ahead of night one of WrestleMania 38.

Jade will be in action at the matinee event, though, and she is scheduled to challenge Mandy Rose for the NXT Women's Championship. Jade was granted the title match on last night's show as she looked to steal Toxic Attraction's titles and Rose would spray paint Cora in the NXT parking lot.
