Coronation Street Fight Set For Upcoming Indy Show

Les Battersby will be all over Sovereign Pro Wrestling's upcoming False Idols show. The UK indy promotion will hold the event on Monday, May 6 at the Trinity Sports Centre in Manchester, England over a bank holiday weekend.

It has already been announced that "someone from the cobbled streets of Weatherfield" will confront Les Battersby at False Idols and now SOVPRO have revealed that Battersby will accompany the LBWO to the ring for their Coronation Street Fight against The Wright Way on the May 6 show.

Battersby made his pro wrestling debut at SOVPRO's February 18 event where he formed the Les Battersby World Order. The LBWO then worked together to take out The Wright Way, a faction dedicated to dead former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Battersby saw off The Wright Way with an Iron Claw to Thatcher Wright. 

Also announced for False Idols is a Five-Way Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match for the SOVPRO World Championship. Champion Joseph Connors will defend the title against Sam Gradwell, Leyton Buzzard, Man Like Dereiss, and the winner of Joey Hayes vs. Bullit.
