Dalton Castle Possibly Injured At ROH TV Tapings
The latest ROH TV tapings saw Dalton Castle potentially pick-up an injury
Jun 5, 2023
Ring of Honor produced its latest round of TV tapings over the weekend, but reports from fans in attendance suggest that former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle may have been injured during the tapings.
Taking to Twitter, @MrJacobCohen tweeted that Castle was helped to the back by a trainer after his match, with Castle reportedly landing badly from a dive.
There’s no indication whether Castle was badly hurt or just took a sore bump, but Castle’s well-documented history of back injuries naturally has fans initially fearing the worst.
During his run on top of ROH which began after dethroning ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes at Final Battle 2017, Castle fractured two bones in his back, with the ‘Party Peacock’ dropping the ROH World Championship after a seven-month reign in order to heal and rehabilitate.
Since Tony Khan bought and relaunched ROH in early 2021, Castle has been ever-present in the company, with ‘The Party Peacock’ and his boys enjoying a reign with the ROH World Six-Man Tag Championships, whilst Castle himself had a high-profile showdown with then ROH World Champion Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite.
