The stipulations for Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins at WWE Money in the Bank were ultimately irrelevant.

Priest and Rollins bumped into each other in a backstage segment on Monday Night Raw, during which they showed respect to one another as Rollins admitted Priest may have been lucky but that he was also a good wrestler. After discussing Priest's upcoming World Heavyweight Title match at SummerSlam against Gunther, Priest said Rollins could challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship again after he's finished with Gunther.

Priest and Rollins went one-on-one for the World Heavyweight Title at Money in the Bank with the stipulation that Rollins would not be able to challenge for the belt again as long as Priest was champion, while Priest would have been forced to quit Judgment Day if Rollins had won.

Priest ultimately retained his title after Drew McIntyre cashed in to make the match a Triple Threat, at which point CM Punk charged to the ring and attacked McIntyre. Priest then recorded the successful title defence, pinning McIntyre following a South of Heaven.

McIntyre is currently "suspended" after hitting Adam Pearce during the Money in the Bank post-show, while CM Punk was fined in storyline for interfering in a No DQ match.
