Dana Brooke Wins First TV Match In Over A Year On WWE NXT

A rare win for Dana on NXT

Dana Brooke's losing ways are over.

On last night's edition of NXT, the former WWE 24/7 Champion defeated Cora Jade in a Kendo Stick match. The victory marked Dana's first on WWE television in over a year.

Brooke utilised help from Kelani Jordan (as well as a custom pink kendo stick) to put Jade away on last night's show.

Her most recent win prior to this one was over Becky Lynch in a 24/7 Title defence on the June 6, 2022 edition of Raw. Prior to switching to NXT, the 34-year-old lost to Rhea Ripley on the May 8 episode of Raw.

Away from the main roster or NXT, Brooke has found some success while performing on Main Event. However, Main Event is exclusive to Hulu and not recognised by WWE on the official 'shows' page on their website.

Dana recently addressed criticism of her performance on the June 20 episode of NXT, where she suffered a (worked) injury and was taken away from the ring on a stretcher, only to return later.
