Dana White Doesn't Think Brock Lesnar Will Ever Return To The UFC

Dana White Has Commented On The Possibility Of A Brock Lesnar UFC Return

It has been seven years since Brock Lesnar last stepped foot in the octagon, and although 2016 marked a return to Mixed Martial Arts for the first time after a five year hiatus, don’t expect another sensational comeback from the former UFC Heavyweight Champion of the world.

UFC president Dana White spoke to Justin Barrasso of SI.com, and commented on Lesnar’s future in the sport;

“Brock and I have a great relationship, and we always have, but I don’t think Brock wants to fight any more. Brock’s made a lot of money. He came into the UFC and won the heavyweight title. He’s got nothing left to prove. I don’t think he’d want to do it.”

Although Lesnar’s last fight ended in an unsavoury way, with a victory over Mark Hunt overturned due to a positive drug test, Lesnar’s growing age has gotten in the way of any sort of redemption, with him now at 45 years of age. Of course, Lesnar is still in phenomenal shape, but it is certainly different competing in the professional wrestling ring than inside a cage.
