Dana White Rules Out UFC 300 Returns For Ronda Rousey & Brock Lesnar

No UFC 300 return for Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey according to Dana White

Combat sports fans shouldn't get their hopes up when it comes to a return to the Octagon for Brock Lesnar or Ronda Rousey.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, UFC CEO Dana White shut down rumours of either returning to the promotion at UFC 300.

"I get why everybody asks. I love that everybody loves them like that, and with so much passion. I do, too. But they're definitely not coming back for UFC 300," White said.

White had positive things to say about both fighters. With regards to Lesnar, he said:

"I always had an incredible working relationship with Brock Lesnar. It's funny to say this because he's such a grouchy dude, but I consider Brock Lesnar a friend."

On Rousey, Dana offered:

"I absolutely love Ronda Rousey. She’s one of the greatest athletes I've ever worked with. She's a pioneer, an inspirational figure for women, and an all-around badass for UFC."

Brock is currently taking a break from WWE following his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. He is expected to return during the build to the Royal Rumble in January.

Ronda, meanwhile, left WWE after losing to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam. She has since wrestled on one independent show and is scheduled for another on November 16.

Lesnar and Rousey last fought in the UFC in 2016.
