Ronda Rousey's Wrestling REVOLVER Opponent Revealed
Who will Ronda Rousey face in The Wrestling REVOLVER?
Ronda Rousey is set to make her Wrestling REVOLVER in-ring debut on November 16, with the ‘Rowdy One’ set to team with Four Horsewomen team-mate Marina Shafir in tag team action.
Now, Rousey and Shafir’s opponents have been revealed, with the tandem set to take on Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion Athena, and her ‘Minion in Training’ Billie Starkz in the main event of the show.
This will be Rousey’s second ever match on the independent scene, following on from her shock appearance at a Luch VaVOOM event on October 26. Her indie bow saw Rousey team with Shafir to defeat the team of Taya Valkyrie and Brian Kendrick.
Rousey wrestled for WWE across two stints from 2018 until 2023, with her last bout coming against other Horsewoman Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules match at SummerSlam in August. Many assumed Rousey would attempt to re-enter the MMA world following her WWE exit, with her venture into the Indies shocking many.
In WWE Rousey was a former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion, a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and headlined WrestleMania 35 in a historic triple threat against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
