Ronda Rousey's time in All Elite Wrestling appears to have simply been a one-night affair for the Revolution pay-per-view.

PWInsider has reported that Rousey is "not expected back anytime soon" and she simply worked Revolution as a one-off appearance to promote her return to MMA and to support Marina Shafir. The show was also local for her. Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has noted there are "no plans for Ronda Rousey to be back anytime soon."

Ronda Rousey's appearance at AEW Revolution 2026 saw her confront Toni Storm after Storm's win over Marina Shafir at the pay-per-view, and they ended up having a pull-apart brawl. Rousey received boos for her appearance, with it having emerged after the event that she reportedly expected a different reaction.

The expectation was the angle was to set up a future singles or tag team match against Toni Storm but it appears that was not the case. Storm is also now off AEW TV and the belief is she won't wrestle again in 2026. Why Storm was written out of AEW programming is unknown beyond that she isn't injured.

Ronda Rousey will make her MMA return against Gina Carano on May 16. All Elite Wrestling may have a presence at the fight as Tony Khan revealed following Revolution that Rousey had invited him to the event.

"I think that would be great. Ronda's always welcome here and anybody from AEW that wants to attend that fight is welcome to do so. Ronda may invite some people. Ronda invited me to the fight tonight. So, I guess so, yes, sounds like we're gonna be there," Khan stated.
