Daniel Bryan American Dragon

On the November 29th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt dragged Daniel Bryan beneath the ring, appearing to remove lots of his hair in the process. Since then, Bryan's location has remained unknown with The Fiend keeping him hostage in the build-up to TLC.

Bray Wyatt faced The Miz in a non-title match at TLC last night. Following Wyatt's victory, The Fiend appeared on the titantron and sent a telepathic message to the Universal champion, prompting him to retrieve a giant mallet from under the ring. Before he could attack The Miz, the lights and noises associated with The Fiend's entrance played. The Eater Of Worlds then ecstatically exclaimed, "he's here!"

Following this, the crowd erupted in Yes! chants as a hooded figure delivered a running knee to the Universal champion. With Wyatt prone in the middle of the ring, the hooded figure revealed himself to be Daniel Bryan with a shorter hair cut and a short beard, akin to how he looked as The American Dragon.

The Leader Of The Yes! Movement then continued to beat down Wyatt. Before Bryan could attack his adversary with the giant mallet, the lights went out and the Universal champion escaped into the darkness.

This is the first time Bryan has used his American Dragon persona since growing his hair long in late 2012. When he first used it, he held the World Heavyweight Championship for 105 days and competed in main event matches against CM Punk.
