Dante Martin Nearing Return From Horrific Injury

Dante Martin coming back soon to AEW

Dante Martin looks set to be back in action in the near future.

Fightful Select has reported the Top Flight member was backstage at a recent All Elite Wrestling show and he is nearing a return from injury. There is no word on any creative plans for Martin as of yet, however.

Dante sustained a horrific injury at ROH Supercard of Honor during the Reach for the Sky Ladder Match back in March. Martin took a Canadian Destroyer from Penta El Zero Miedo from a ladder through four tables in the closing stages of the match but he suffered a gruesome Sid Vicious-esque leg injury.

Martin's injury was so severe he was taken to hospital, and later discharged on April 1.

ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni noted in July that Dante was ahead of schedule in his recovery. Dante's brother Darius has been active in Ring of Honor during his brother's absence either as a singles competitor or in a tag team with Action Andretti.

Top Flight have been plagued by injuries since the Martin brothers signed with AEW in 2020, including two long layoffs for Darius Martin, one of which was caused by his involvement in a serious car accident.

Another AEW star potentially on their way back to the promotion is Marq Quen
