Dante Martin Out Of Hospital Following Horror Injury At ROH Supercard Of Honor

The recent Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor XVI PPV on March 31 was marred by the news that Top Flight’s Dante Martin suffered an horrific leg injury during the event.

During the climax fo the five team Reach for the Sky Ladder Natch for the vacant ROH World Tag Team Championships, Martin took a destroyer from Penta El Zero M off a ladder through four tables at ringside, visibly jarring his leg and suffering some form of break a la Sid Vicious in WCW.

This was the latest bit of bad luck for the injury-hampered young team, and Martin has commented on the situation, posting the following to Twitter:

“Blessed to work for a guy like @TonyKhan Great to see him right after getting out the hospital last night! Thank you @DocSampson13 and @AEW medical staff!! Comeback Szn”

Martin is looking at a long lay-off after the injury, with ROH/AEW President Tony Khan confirming that Dante’s brother Darius will move into singles competition in the interim.
