Horror Injury Suffered At ROH Supercard Of Honor

A Horrifying Injury Was Suffered During A Ladder Match At ROH Supercard Of Honor

ROH put forth their Supercard Of Honor PPV on March 31, and for the most part it looked to be a success, with some big matches and title changes. Unfortunately though, one of the most prevalent news stories coming out of it was a horrific injury.

Dante Martin of Top Flight looked to sustain a serious foot/leg injury after a crazy spot which saw Penta El Zero Miedo deliver a Canadian Destroyer from a ladder inside the ring and through several tables on the outside. The pair looked to slightly overdo the landing, which led to Martin’s foot colliding directly with the floor, resulting in it turning almost 180 degrees in a disturbing moment.

An angle posted by @ekc on Twitter shows referees immediately swarming to the scene, throwing up the “X” sign, with Penta shown clearly distressed at what happened. It is a very unfortunate situation considering not only Dante’s still young age, but also due to the fact that the Top Flight tag team seems cursed with bad luck when it comes to injuries. All we can do is hope that Dante’s injury isn’t as serious as it looked, and that he can make a full recovery.
