Darby Allin is renowned for putting his body through a lot of risk and pain, taking a highlight reel worth of crazy spots and bumps in AEW alone, and receiving several injuries in the process (although less you might expect for a man who gets thrown down stairs, crashes through tables, and dives into glass). It may come as some surprise, but Allin has revealed he works hard to take care of his body.

On AEW’s Meal and a Match, Allin discussed his recovery process following matches, explaining that he has his own ‘laboratory’ for looking after himself.

"My whole downstairs is like a laboratory. I'm friends with DDP, and he's got all this state of the art, like, physical recovery stuff at his house, and so I'll go up and try it out. Now, like I've got two ice baths at my house, I've got saunas, I've got breathing machines, I've got everything, because I want to be like crazy for as long as possible."

He went on to talk about keeping a healthy mindset too.

“The mind is also a big thing. So I started TM meditation, it's like a big thing where it kind of goes to the source of thought where it actually helps me get more creative."

Allin returned to AEW programming in recent weeks after being absent ever since the closing moments of the WrestleDream PPV. He has taken to battling Jon Moxley’s Death Rider faction. Allin noted in recent months that he is hoping to venture into space after toppling Mount Everest, whenever that may be.
