Darby Allin Taking Time Off AEW To Climb Mt. Everest
Darby Allin won't be on AEW programming for a few months

In 2024, Darby Allin was scheduled to take some time off from AEW programming in order to climb Mt. Everest, ticking off another death-defying bucket list item for the thrill seeker. However, an injury picked up in a match Jay White put this on hold. As we move into 2025, Darby Allin is looking to once again climb the mountain.
According to Fightful Select, Darby Allin’s recent absences from AEW programming after being thrown down a flight of stairs by The Death Riders are due to him training for his ascent up Mt. Everest, and he will remain off AEW’s weekly shows and PPVs until the quest is complete.
It is noted that Allin isn’t expected back on AEW programming ‘for months’, and upon his return to the promotion he is expected to receive a big push, though this won’t be until Spring at least. Allin revealed last month that he is planning to stick the AEW flag at the top of Mt. Everest. It was also revealed that Allin’s mentor, Sting, had attempted to dissuade Allin from climbing up the mountain, though he was unsuccessful in his advice.
