The Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame has announced that Dave Prazak is the latest name due to be inducted.

Prazak has been an instrumental figure in the indie wrestling world for the best of 20 years, taking on various roles such as Ring of Honor commentator, booker of SHIMMER, and as the some-times manager of CM Punk during the Second City Saint’s legendary runs in ROH and IWA Mid-South, the latter as part of the Goldbond Mafia.

Prazak is the fourth name to be announced for the inaugural hall of fame ceremony, joining former ECW and ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn, former ROH World Champion Homicide, and former CZW World Heavyweight Champion Ruckus.

No details have been released so far as to who will induct Prazak into the hall of fame, but CM Punk cheekily responded to the HOF announcement on Twitter, leading some to believe Punk will handle the honours.

The inaugural Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremony takes place on January 22 2022 in New York, one night before GCW’s sold out event at the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom.
